CPE Catalog is out
Our 2010 catalog of educational programs is out. If you haven't received your copy yet, call 877-637-2727 or email: cpe@ndscpa.org.
When you register for any course by June 1 (excluding the Management Conference, Tax Practitioner Institute and Webcasts) you'll save $20 (for 8 hour classes) and conferences, and $10 for (4 hour sessions).

For Newer CPAs
New CPAs / Young Professionals are welcome to attend an education & networking event planned by the Society's Young Professionals Committee. It's planned for Bismarck on May 10, 2010, at the University of Mary. This seminar is for those under 40 years or with less than 10 years of professional experience. Six hours of CPE, lunch and a social with trivia & prizes are included. Registration begins at 10:30, seminar at 11:00. Social and trivia will begin at 4:30.

Another toe in the water
Here I am trying my hand at a blog.
Just so you know ... this Jim Abbott is not the baseball version, or the South Dakota college president version. I'm the one who works for the North Dakota accounting profession. So this blog will feature accounting news, oriented mostly to our state accounting folks. But there may be a few other profundities, when I find a few!
